Project Description
Obsideo was contracted by Opsicol for the engineering design, procurement and construction of the 250tph Coal Handling and Processing Plant in 2023.
The plant includes a two-stage crushing circuit, a 4- 50mm LARCODEMS DMS circuit, a 1-4mm classifier circuit, a -1mm classifier circuit and a desliming circuit. A filter press circuit enables the plant to be operated as a zero-effluent plant.
Product from the 1-4mm and -1mm product stock pads can be blended into the 4-50mm product stream by an integrated blending plant. Hot commissioning of the project commenced in March 2024. The plant reached nameplate capacity within 2 months of commissioning
