SMM contracted Obsideo to provide engineering design, procurement, and construction for the Phase 1 Concentrator Plant as well as to commission and operate the plant.
The plant consists of a comminution circuit, spiral and multi gravity separator circuits, and two flotation circuits. The plant has a nameplate capacity of 15 tph. Future phases of this project will see the high-grade (40%+) concentrate (produced in the concentrator plant) being processed further in hydrometallurgical circuits, where rare earth elements and radioactive components will be separated.
