Project Description
Obsideo was contracted by Canyon Coal for the engineering design, procurement and construction of the 400tph Coal Handling and Processing Plant in November 2017.
The plant includes a two-stage crushing circuit, a 1-100mm LARCODEMS DMS circuit, a -1mm spirals circuit and a desliming circuit. A filter press circuit enables the plant to be operated as a zero-effluent plant.
The 1-100mm product is separated into 1-6mm, 6-25mm, 25-50mm and 50-100mm size ranges but can be combined into a single product stream that can be crushed to -50mm for thermal coal requirements.
Hot commissioning of the project commenced in December 2018. The plant reached nameplate capacity and passed the performance criteria within 3 months
