Project Description
Obsideo was contracted by Exxaro for the detail design of the filter plant upgrade at the GG8 circuit. The objective of the project was to optimise the filter setup to have the capacity to treat all the fines at the GG7 & 8 plant by leveraging the existing structure which is no longer used for the redundant hyperbaric filters.
The scope included the study and detail design associated with the filter plant upgrade including:
- Mechanical design
- Platework design
- Structural and civil design
- Piping design
- E&I design
The scope also included construction planning, construction cost implementation support and fabrication support.
