Project Description
Obsideo was contracted by Amava for the engineering design, procurement and construction of the Thorncliffe Chrome Tails Retreatment Plant in March 2016. Spiral test work was conducted by Multotec to determine the optimized spirals circuit. This brownfields project included a new 120tph feed section and new spirals plant that had to be integratedinto the existing infrastructure. The plant was commissioned in January 2017 and achieved nameplate capacity within a month of commissioning.
